Things were going so well I've not long been back from a lovely relaxing holiday which I managed going on my own and I passed my first year of my Degree BSc (Honours) Psychology with Counselling. Then boom everything turns to darkness my dogs have a fight so I had to rehome one who I've had since a puppy until 8-9 yrs. I've had a stomach bug for nearly a week. Now my head has gone bang my anxiety has kicked off bad! I'm scared I'm going to die and I'm scared that people I love are going to die. I feel like I've not got long left in this world! I hate feeling like this. 😴 I'm starting to feel cold and numb and like I don't know what's real and what's not. I feel like I want to run away. I'm becoming that cold dissociated person again who gets fixated on things, who ignores people who I love and what's going on around me. I'm becoming less cuddly and feel so tired I could be in bed at 6pm. I hate being this self destructive person who's feelings can turn on and off like a tap from feeling everything to nothing at all just emptiness and nothing inbetween. I pray this will pass and my head will adjust and calm down and it's just the stress of everything that's making me spiral out of control. I got a bunch of new clothes yesterday and I'm really excited to wear them because they are so cute. -

🌸Things That Help With Depression🌸
1. Move your body. Get up, walk around, do something to keep your body moving, it will help you feel better.
2. Breathe. Shallow breathing can give you headaches and can make you sick. Practice doing breathing exercises.
3. Express yourself. Write down what you are feeling or talk about it with someone you can trust.
4. Break down your Depression. What are the triggers? What's on your mind the most? Think about a solution to your problem and break it down into baby steps.
5. Do some self care activities. Your emotions are like children who need to be stimulated and pampered to feel better. -

I got blood work done today and I almost passed out. They took around 8 tubes of blood and I have no idea why they needed my blood. But, apparently I need more tests done. I'm so tired and drained, quite literally. -

1. Have a water gun or a balloon fight, you can buy all the supplies you need from the dollar store.
2. Travel around your city with no where specific in mind.
3. Make DIY slime.
4. Stay out late and light sparklers.
5. Shop at a thrift store.
6. Make a tie dye shirt or shorts.
7. Ride down the street in a grocery cart.
8. Walk through the drive through to order your food.
9. Buy a journal and write in it everyday.
10. Have a movie marathon.
11. Fill your room with DIY crafts.
12. Buy a water proof phone case and take pictures underwater.
13. Go to random festivals near you. -

My appointment with my care coordinator earlier went well, mainly talked about my recent overdose and how I've been feeling generally and about what things I've found helpful in the past regarding post suicide attempts etc. It was a bit triggering as she was about to tell me about activities that are at the local secondary school near me...I flat out said no before she even finished, and explained briefly about why I will never ever go back there for anything, heck even driving past it triggers flashbacks. So yeah. After that I went to town with dad and went to @lushbasingstoke for a bit of retail therapy. Got a couple of new reusable bubble bars and some of my usual purchases. Have managed to not act on urges, but doing so has made the voices louder. I'm trying to plan my evening and make it as relaxing and self caring as I can. Need to be up early tomorrow for anxiety management group, so need a decent night's sleep tonight.
