Undoubtedly, @owlstore6 Store is a shop with a personal taste that I particularly love.
On many occasions, I have noticed the desire and the passion to get out of the usual clichè proposing a particular vision, inspired by the past, but without the "heritage" style that, although in certain contexts can still have their full logic, in others they would be out of place.
This morning I saw a post that I like to share.
Illustrates a Pima corduroy jacket from the current collection, which is paired with a shetland sweater, a military overshirt, an oxford shirt.
I love this image in which everything is layered perfectly.
It takes me back to the path I do when I study the old magazines and my books in trying to identify some guidelines on which I then work to design the collection.
This overlay game is gorgeous. It brings me back to the old japanese fashion magazines Men’s Club of the late 70s, where the Trad style was always mixed with the heavy Duty, the basic ... and layers was the rule, absolutely, but also the iconic images that from the early days inspired 1ST PAT-RN ( indeed, they have inspired my entire history of Designer) those of the book "Dressing Right" by Charles Hix, I could define it my bible where I learn the techniques of layering.
It's nice to be able to share some photos, taken quickly, here with you, inspired by Steve from Owl Store
