What kind of dieting/training techniques do you guys use when you're trying to lean bulk?
Sometimes when bulking I'll do mini-cuts for 1-2 weeks to burn some extra fat that's accumulated. During this time I continue lifting exactly as I would if I were still in a caloric surplus, add/increase cardio and try to maintain my strength levels and even increase them!
I keep my daily intake of protein the same or even a little higher, lower my fats a little and reduce my carbs significantly. I like to carb cycle and do some intermittent fasting as well.
I think that utilizing some or all of these strategies in the correct way can really help you minimize your fat gains while maintaining/building muscle and strength. I dropped a few lbs in the last week from 180 to 178. I'm looking a bit leaner and I'm still getting stronger! 💯💪🏼
