in our house, thunderstorms mean everybody gets a #stuffedkong . Gives them something other than thunder to think about. Plain greek yogurt (not because i'm a yogurt snob..because it's thicker and won't run out of the holes at either end), mashed banana and peanut butter powder, freeze for about an hour
Exciting Sunday stuffing/labelling/freezing food toys for the dogs. Toys used: *Kong extremes (black) size lg *Kong extreme ball (black) *Bionic bow tie (Orange) *Westpaw Tux (not pictured) *Westpaw Twizzle (green with legs) *Westpaw Toppl (blue one) With exception of Westpaw Toppl (only given to more moderate chewer Jers as Hiya was able to rip pieces off) all have held up to extreme chewing. The Kong extreme toys and the Bionic are particularly tough!
I put together a mixture of chopped carrot, cheese, dried liver and peanut butter, stuffed it in the Kong and froze it. He’s been at this for 45 minutes and still going! (If you’re going to do this for your dog, remember not to use peanut butter with xylitol in it as this is toxic for dogs, and take into account their daily calories if you’re doing it on a regular basis)
