Today I got called inspirational and hit two ⚪️⚪️⚪️ 10-lb PRs, all before 9:00 am 💁🏻 Snatches up to 130# with no misses and c&j at 165# after a few tries. Happy Monday from Jamaica 😊. I guess I wasn’t the only one at the resort who had he uses to workout at 7:30 this morning. The gym was packed, was a little hard to find a spot to workout in but I got it done. There’s something about tabata style workouts that makes me workout even harder. Unfortunately the Wi-Fi wasn’t working in the gym, so couldn’t do the Tricep video, so instead I added on tricep kickbacks and dips to the end of the blog workout. 30 seconds of work, 30 seconds of rest.. 5 rounds each. Upper body was 🔥 by the end, felt so good. As for my own little add ons.. I did 10 minute kettlebell swing intervals for a little HIIT and an ab circuit consisting of leg lifts, knee crunches, flutter kicks and bicycle crunches. 30 seconds of each exercise, no rest in between.. for a total of 3 rounds. Healthy French toast and Walden Farms 0 calorie syrup. I have really been enjoying this recipe in the mornings. It is so filling, high in protein and low in fat, calories, and carbs. Mix together egg whites, cinnamon, stevia, vanilla extract, and butter extract. Dip Ezekiel raisin bread in the mixture and cook in pan. Top with Walden Farms Syrup. 😋

Total body functional training circuit using just a 25 pound plate. Each move 40 seconds on, 10 off, 4 rounds . Today is my total body functional training day. I keep the weights lighter, hit the whole body and move in more functional patterns. I like to do this once a week. Keeps working out interesting and fun!

Everyone knows I am a big fan of the Lagree Method in pilates. This workout increases flexibility, balance and strength with no risk of injury. It changes how your body looks. Lean and long muscles is the result. But a lot of people ask me “what exactly is it?” So I thought I would create a short video series of the workout highlighting a different portion of our class each video. Danke und Bitte. Scheinen Fremdwörter für eine Vielzahl der Leute geworden zu sein. Wie ich drauf komme? Da schnauzte doch eine ältere Dame gestern an der Kasse die Kassiererin an - sie möge doch endlich eine neue Kasse aufmachen. Kein Bitte. Kein nettes Wort. Und dann zog sie schnaufend ab ans Ende der Schlange. Da hatte ich wirklich keine Worte mehr.

Auch im Krankenhaus erlebe ich das leider oft - dabei könnt ihr euch nicht vorstellen wie sehr man sich freut, wenn man ein "Danke" hört. Wenn Patienten oder Angehörige sich bedanken, dass man geholfen und geheilt hat, oder auch einfach dafür, dass man immer ein Ohr offen hatte. Dass man den Mensch wie einen Menschen behandelt.
Keiner ist weniger wert, "minderwertig" oder sonstwas. Und JEDER verdient es - auch in noch so stressigen Situationen - mit Respekt behandelt zu werden. Und dazu gehört meiner Meinung nach ein "Danke", ein "Bitte", ein "Entschuldigung" oder ganz simpel: Ein ernstgemeintes Lächeln.

Wie seht ihr das? Wann habt ihr euch zuletzt bedankt? Oder um Etwas gebeten? Ich versuche immer - auch bei Kleinigkeiten- höflich zu sein und mich zu bedanken 😊 das gehört doch einfach dazu! sollte es zumindest...
