"it's not supposed to be easy" had been our gym moto from the get go. @jenniferthompsonshusband and I are prepping our son for his 1st Raw Nats. One of the things we are trying to teach him is, this is a hard sport. It's a sport that you need to embrace the pain. It's what separates the "good" from the "great". You have to learn to love the grind, the max effort and the soreness it brings. If you come in dreading the work, whining and lethargic that's the kind if workout you will have.

If I'm being honest...vacation and the end of summer got the best of me.
Last week I regrouped and refocused on my GOALS and where I want to be by the end of the year.
I started a 3 week cleanse (don't worry I'm still eating...a ton actually!) and these are my results after 1 week!! ✖️I'm down 8 pounds.
✖️I have MORE ENERGY!!
✖️I'm not craving sugar the same way I was a week ago.
✖️I have reassurance that I CAN do this! 🙌🏼 If this is my progress after only one week, I'm excited to see where I will be in 2 more! 😁

1. Dumbbell Squat into Shoulder Press 15 reps
2. Step up .. Bicep Curl .. Knee Raise 15 reps each side ( make it more challenging by increasing the height of the step you are working with ) -
3. Curtesy Lunges 15 reps
Complete 4 rounds 🔥💪🏼💯

👋FORM CHECK👋 "Hey, I was wondering if you could form check my recent squat video. I just figured out that I have an anterior pelvic tilt and really right hip flexors. Anyone else have this issue? What worked for you and is it always hard to hit depth?" @mamajlifts - I was supposed to do 5 but apparently I can't count when I'm focusing on form. I've decided not to add any more weight to my squats until I can figure out my technique and keep the bar path straighter. Good morning y'all.... not sure why but I couldn't sleep well last night. Went to bed around 10:45 pm and kept tossing and turning all night. Hopefully this tooth pain will go away soon since I won't be able to take pain meds while working. Going to push play, get a good sweat on before I go to work. Just remember you can't just sit there and wish for things to happen. You have to put in the work. Have a wonderful day and stay focused!!!!

Seriously, I am asked all the time how I have balanced living out of a suitcase for two months, managed an international move, raised a baby, built a business, and well just survived 😂

Breakfast {i n s p i r a t i o n} courtesy of @chameleoncoldbrew. Looks like an awesome meal prep to start your mornings off right 🙌🏻 ・・・
INGREDIENTS
½ cup Peanut Butter
¼ cup Chameleon Cold-Brew Vanilla Coffee Concentrate
¼ cup Honey
¼ cup Coconut Oil, melted
1 Egg White
¼ cup brown sugar
1 cup old fashioned oats
1 cup rice chex
¼ cup coconut
¼ cup chia seeds
¼ cup pumpkin seeds
½ cup dried cranberries
Optional Topping
2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
1 teaspoon coconut oil, melted
INSTRUCTIONS
1⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8x8” pan with parchment paper.
2⃣ In a large bowl, whisk together peanut butter, Chameleon Cold-Brew, honey, coconut oil, egg white and brown sugar.
3⃣ Add remaining ingredients to wet mixture and stir gently to combine.
4⃣ Press mixture firmly into pan.
5⃣ Bake 35-40 minutes until golden and firm. Let cool 5 minutes.
6⃣ Lift bars out of pan and cut into 8 bars then let cool.
7⃣ If desired, squish together peanut butter and coconut oil in a ziplock bag. Cut the tip of the bag off and pipe drizzles onto each bar.
8⃣ Refrigerate in a sealed container until ready to eat!
