Some of the best runs are the ones that make you stop dead in your tracks and appreciate what you can see. I wish I could show what the stars actually looked like at 5:30 this morning. I honestly had to stop and just look up for a minute. It reminded me that even though we do go through hard times in this life, if we take a minute and "look up" there is someone up there who wants what is best for us and is here to help us, even when we dont see it in the moment. I dont know how you can see some of the wonders of the world and not believe in God or another higher power.

I’ve also always hated my broad shoulders. I got a pea head, and big ol’ shoulders.... but I think they may help me with driving weight overhead :) so I like them now. LOVE THY BODY !!!! . . .
Can you believe October is almost over? My little girl will be ONE next week. 😭
Its been one year since I was at my heaviest. Preggo and all. One year since I was SO uncomfortable in my skin. Postpartum body is no joke! Nothing fits and every aches. Not to mention the boobies are at their largest.... Which will never happen again naturally😂
That being said, its been one year since I decided to START getting healthy. Not just physically or eating better, but mentally too. Its so much more than seeing definition in your arms, legs or abs.... Its FEELING GOOD about yourself. And being PROUD of yourself. And taking TIME for yourself. It seems like yesterday that Allison was born, that year FLEW by. And I'm so happy I made the decision to work on ME! So where will you be in a year? Right where you started? Or do you want to be where you've Dreamed of being? THEN LETS DO THIS!!!!!! Whos ready to start over once and for all? 🙋♀️
No matter where we've fallen, stumbled, or what we feel unworthy of, God has a grand design and intention for us that is not yet complete. You may not see it now, but He's working in you. If you are still breathing, you have purpose. Rest in this hope to keep pressing on.

💥SMITH MACHINE OVERHEAD PRESS💥. 🎙SOUND ON🎙 - 🔹The Smith Machine gets a bad rap. A lot of people love to tell you how horrible it is, and while it may not be the first choice for some exercises, there is a time and place for it. - 🔹The Smith Machine is great for an overhead press. If you have shoulder stability problems, it may not be in your best interest to put a barbell over your head yet. The Smith Machine allows your shoulders to stay in a safe, strong, position while being able to lift weight over your head. - ➡️The set up is super important: - ✅ Get the chair as close to the bar as possible. You want the bar to come down close to your nose to make sure the bar pathway is vertical. If you are too far away from the bar, the pathway stays in front of you which can pinch the front of your shoulders. - ✅ Lower the bar to about your mouth/chin. Because the bar is in a locked pathway, if it gets too low you won’t be in a strong position to press it back up. Find your sweet spot for this. For me, it’s about at my lips - 🔹You can try a regular overhead press, add a 1/2 rep, add constant tension. Lots of variations you can do here. - ➡️If you are not quite ready for a barbell, give this overhead press variation a shot. - ✅3 sets 6-8 reps OR ✅3 sets 10-12 reps with lighter weight. - 🔹And while you are on the Smith Machine, you can do some hands elevated push ups and some inverted rows too!
