Course you do. We all know a few “Health Nuts” who just L-O-V-E eating nutritious foods 🤗🥦

And you know what? More power to ‘em. If they love swapping bean patties for burgers or carrots for chips, have at it!

You probably don’t align with that way of thinking, though...

In fact, for many, eating the recommended 5-6 servings of fruits + veggies per day can be a real struggle 😰

Hell, even after years of doing this, it can be a struggle for me! 🙋‍♂️

But the reality is that eating healthy foods is important. Like super-duper important. Not only for your health, but for your hunger, energy levels, and ultimately how good you feel.

And eating healthy doesn’t have to be miserable either...

Sure, it’ll require some sacrifice and discipline, but if you can build habits around eating them, you’ll set yourself up for success.

Here are 9 of my favorite Healthy Eatin’ Habits:

1. Plan healthy foods into your daily plan (so you don’t have to think about it)

2. Make healthy foods convenient by prepping them beforehand

3. Eat them FIRST at meals

4. Stick to ones you actually enjoy eating!

5. Buy ‘em in bulk (this’ll save you some $$$)

6. Add some flavor (you don’t have to eat ‘em bland, you know)

7. Get creative with your cookin’

8. Don’t fear frozen (no, frozen is NOT unhealthy)

9. hehe, hi 👋🤓 Something else to add…

While it’s important to eat plenty of nutritious foods, don’t be afraid to let your hair down and enjoy some not-as-nutritious foods on occasion 🍩🍦

Life’s about having fun & enjoying yourself!

Show up, do the work. Do it for yourself.

Remember Gilbert? It's been a few months since we posted him last and Gilbert has been working harder than ever with the help of @mindfulcalum.

He has lost 37 inches total from left to right (16 of those just from his waist). He has not only lost 45lbs of fat but has gained a lot of muscle and strength in the process.

He is eating more and more consistently throughout the day to fuel his training.

Could he have lost this weight faster if he had chosen to crash diet for a couple of months instead? Yes of course. But he wouldn't have been able to add muscle , gain strength and improve his metabolism by doing so. .

By focusing on his performance and fuelling his body right to make gaining muscle a priority he has been able to lose fat in a sustainable way. Because of the added muscle his body is able to burn more calories when he is not exercising.

Stop dieting and exercising and start fuelling and training with intention 🙏🏻 .

Truly change your life and body and not just the number on the scale.

After Losing My Father That I Don't Think I've Ever Got Over And The Death Of My Beloved Grandparents Both Tragic & Within 6 Months Of Each Other I Can Safely Say The Gym Is My Savour... It Definitely Keeps The Demons At Bay And Works Wonders For Your Health & Body Also...I Love Talking To The Older Members Whom Have Been Widowed Etc And Go To The Gym Like Me To Keep Mentally & Physically Healthy & They Also Say They Wouldn't Be Without The Gym, Its The Most Cost Effective Medicine Available...I Wish People Who Are Suffering With Mental Illness, Loneliness, Low Self Confidence Etc Would Go & Try The Gym It Really Does Work Wonders, You Feel Ready To Take On The World Every Time You Walk Out After Exercise...👍🏼Healthy Body Healthy Mind That's Why The Majority Of Us Go To The Gym Not Because We Are Superficial Or Self Centred But Because We Want To Be A Better Version Of Ourselves And Are Proud Of What We Achieve In Turn.....
