You NEED to listen to your body‼️ Safe to say I woke up today (post-half marathon) feeling SORE. I haven't weight trained for 4 days (when I hit a 100kg squat for 3 reps), and shock horror: I haven't lost all my gains!
👉🏼To ease my aching bod, @recoverymassagetherapy came over to save me this morning 🙌🏼 and now I'm feeling MUCH better.
Moral of the story: taking time off and doing things which aren't your 'usual' aren't going to ruin your progress. Consistency over time is what will get you results, and deviating from your plan every now and then won't ruin everything for you! I'm making sure that today and tomorrow, I REST! I went for a 45 min walk (ish) today, and will do the same tomorrow. Then for the rest of the week I will try some light weight training!

HOWEVER: I have learned that being more chill about training/nutrition is FINE, as long as you're sensible and implement the healthy habits you're learning on your journey, and also just chillax about everything a little! #StrengthFeed
