I usually do 2 sets of each, until failure.
I don't do them to get visible abs (having visible abs only comes to diet). I do them to get stronger at compound lift, protect my spine and improve my posture.

Je ne les travaille pas pour avoir des abdos visibles (ça c'est uniquement lié à l'alimentation). Je le fais avant tout pour être plus forte aux mouvements composés, pour protéger ma colonne et pour améliorer ma posture.

Strengthening your core is, specifically your Transverse Abdominous (your body’s natural weight belt). I preach it to everyone, if your core is strong enough you don’t need a belt!

REGRESSIONS: lose the plate and just keep your hands on your head or at your chest -- or just try holding flat for as long as you can if you can’t get the twist yet -- planks and hollow body holds will help you build up to this if you can’t hold flat yet
