Happy Tuesday friends! I have another tip for you... When it comes to achieving your goals guess what...you have to actualls set REALiSTIC ones. I know crazy right?!? If you decide to set a goal for next month and you say that you want to lose 50 lbs in the next 30 days, I'm going to tell you that you need to re-evaluate your goal. Why?
1. It's not safe
2. It's unrealistic --> that's what I want to focus on "Don't strive for perfection or an improbable goal that can't be met" -Kara Thompson, spokesperson for the International Health Racquet and Sportsclub Association; instead "Focus on increasing healthy behaviors". In other words if you can't do something today, such as run a 5k, start out small. Start by walking 15 or 20 minutes each day. Then after a week or so, add a few minutes, or you could always decide to add distance instead. Whatever works for you. One day you'll be running that 5k and saying it was a piece of cake!
