When Goal Setting, we ask our members to create SMART Goals.
Specific- the more specific the better!
Measurable- Weight-loss, Fitness, Strength based... it doesn’t matter what the goal is, how will it be measured?
Achievable- set yourself a goal you know you can realistically hit. If you havent quite got a pull up yet, 10 in a row may be a bit ambitious in a 6 week time frame.
Relevant- Is it relevant to YOU? Don’t set a weight loss goal if you don’t want to lose weight! Don’t make your goal the same as someone else’s or what you think others want you to do. You won’t achieve it if you aren’t invested in it!
Timely- we have that one covered! This Goal is to be achieved in 6 weeks!
Stick to the SMART Goal Detroit principle and you will definitely SUCCEED!
