Real Talk - Identity Crisis!

Not having a strong sense of identity can make you feel confused about what you 'should be doing'.. or 'where you belong'.. which can lead you into a space of feeling completely lost! I've felt this way at times during periods of my life .. it lead me down a path of feeling empty, alone and full of regrets.
Not knowing your true self can alter how you carry yourself and the decisions you make.
Our identity gives us the foundation that we need to reach our genuine and true aspirations.

We get so caught up trying 'act' or 'be' what we think other people 'want' us to be or 'expect' us to be.. but this makes it impossible to know if what we offer is authentic and unique.

I've found that the best way to find yourself when you feel lost ➡️ is to completely embrace who you are and align your decisions and actions with your true values and principles. "Don't just go with the flow and let conformity define you". Create your own standards and expectations. Stand strong in who you are !! Always remember - you are enough and created in your own true individuality and beauty! Keep learning ...evolving and never fear being you ❤️

There are so many great exercise programs out there and it can be hard to choose. You really just need to find one that you enjoy. It's not so much what you do but HOW you do it.
Your best is always good enough but do you always give it your best? I know I definitely can be a little absent minded when I workout at times, not focusing on form or the mind/muscle connection.
I've chosen to go ahead and do Jillian Michaels 30 day shred for a few reasons. Firstly it was where my journey started but I didn't do it any justice because I hadn't made the necessary changes to my diet at the time so I really want to see what I can achieve doing it now. Secondly, it's short and I only have 6 weeks before I go to Greece so I don't want to start something I can't complete - I plan to do it 5 times a week for the next 6 weeks. Surely I can commit to that? 🤔🤗
It seems to have disappeared off YouTube though so I ordered the DVD and hopefully it will arrive soon. In the meantime I have been doing fitnessblender workouts from YouTube and every time I come back to them I just can't believe these people give so much for free. Their squat challenge is a long time fave of mine and so is their Total Body Exercise Ball workout but in the last two days I have done the Brutal Butt and Thigh workout as well as Kelli's Upper Body Workout for People Who Get Bored Easily (🙋🏽🙋🏽🙋🏽) and can I just say that aside from enjoying the workouts, they have left me so sore! Love that feeling! Win win! 🙌🏼

This is essentially a loaded 'shoulder circle' using ones body weight. What it does:
➖Mobilizes the shoulders by taking them through a controlled rotational movement at the outer limits of available motion.
➖Activates all the tissues which optimizes function.
➖Provides a tonne of afferent feedback to the joint which helps to centrate the 'ball in the socket' again for optimal joint function.

Want to build a bigger back?
Stop messing around with all the different light weight fancy exercises and trying to reinvent the wheel and.... DEADLIFT some heavy fucking weight, do that for a few months, do it with effort and do it properly and see what happens.
Now, my back is far from where I want it to be.. I struggled and wasted time trying to build it up and rehab shitty shoulders because of my weak back doing all sorts of time under tension fancy shit and go get nowhere. Once I started to lift heavy weight properly and push myself with deadlifts everything changed and guess what, my shoulders feel better than ever 💪🏻
