Strength and Conditioning work today with @deveradiego covering speed, agility, explosive training with some football sled hits and pushing. My boy @tntlupe weighing at 260 lbs on the sled. Iam not a football player but I like to hit stuff and work explosive power oh and I didn't have cleats on, so I wasn't able to get lower, and I was slipping while pushing, next time I do these drills I'll have cleats. Iam also wearing my 40 lbs vest putting my weight at 280 lbs. Did a ton of lateral and forward jumps and burpees. Then added my signature resistance band kit 100 lbs of resistance for the last drill, Iam also still sore from the deadlifts yesterday. Get out and crush this week!! With the little one sick and home from school today, I wasn't overly optimistic about getting a solid workout in but it turned out to be the opposite... Huge win 👏🏼 40 min treadmill run and then she joined me for a 30 min arm workout that should have taken 10 😅
No complaints here though!

|| FOOD DIARY || I can feel the weight slowly creeping back on since having to cut weights and HIIT out of my routine, and need to get strict on my diet. I started tracking macros again today, and to keep myself accountable I'll be posting my #fooddiary every few days. My biggest issue is getting more protein and less fats, so it's going to be a good challenge for me to hit my macros daily. Calculated macros are C 50% P 30% F 20% 💪🏼
Today's meals - ▪️Post-workout - @pranaon salted caramel protein shake with water and ice, and black coffee (not pictured) ▪️Breakfast - 1 cup rolled oats with chia, almond milk, water, cinnamon, 1/2 banana, pepitas, raspberries and natural PB
▪️Snack - corn thin with margarine and Vegemite (not pictured) and 3 squares of @alterecopacific dark toffee chocolate ▪️Lunch - toasted roast vegetable and feta wrap 1/2 size ▪️Snack - 2 squares of chocolate and 1 hard boiled egg (not pictured)
▪️Dinner - chicken and vegetable teriyaki stir fry with rice & quinoa mix ▪️Snack - progurt with chia, puffed millet and raspberries, and a black chai tea (not pictured)
C - 45% P - 22% F - 32% 😬🙄
Total calories 1914. My daily total is calculated to be 1928, and this is lower than usual currently because my exercise is basically walking and low intensity light weights until my body is right. It's over 2000 calories total when I am doing weights and HIIT 5-6 days a week.
So here's to improving and eating cleaner every day!

A few disjointed points from yesterday!
That was one of the hardest but best things I've done in my life.
I have never been so scared.And I have never quite appreciated how far 26.2 miles is!
My leg started at annoyingly painful to I can't run anymore painful.It was like the Hulk had taken up residence in my calf and was trying to split the whole thing open.Ouchy.
Miles 14 - 18 were a blur,I just remember thinking bugger me this is horrible.
Knowing I had people to look out for along the way got me round.Without that,it would have taken me hours longer.
I was very pleased that I did not need to stop for a loo break!
Shock Absorber sports bras are life.
I have never seen my Dad lost for words,and all he could do at Mile 22 was beam and clap me on the back.Apparently when I left he burst into tears.
Running a marathon does not a great first meeting make - the gorgeous @thinkingclarely who I have admired from afar for months,saw me on the home straight and screamed for me.I ran over to hug her and literally bellowed in her face "running is ****ing bullshit".Awesome.
I am much more determined than I thought.Yes,I had to walk more than I planned,but the whole way round I was thinking "okay,so what can I do to train better for the next one?"
I knew this already,but the running and fitness community is one that I am so lucky and immensely proud to be part of.The support I received through training and in the days prior to Sunday - people going out of their way to encourage me.The amount of love and good will on that course,from runners and supporters.Runners meant to run yesterday but having to defer,so making damn sure they were there to help and motivate in any way they could.Having my fitfam make the effort to come down and move to multiple points around the course so that I could barrel into them and have a squeal and a hug.
Yesterday was incredible,and I can't believe I have run the London Marathon.Just thinking it makes me well up.
To everyone who ran - you're incredible and you are all so inspiring.
To everyone who has gone through this with me - thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Two years ago my wife @endomeetsfitness and I had the honour of visiting Gallipoli, Turkey. The place a nations identity was forged and ANZAC day began. It was a truly humbling experience. What made the experience even more humbling was the fact that it was wet cold and muddy the entire time, it helped us gain some (yet very little) understanding of what those men and boys went through.

"Hold on!" This was a 'cliffhanger' moment. A statement that was a staple of Hollywood action movies in the 80's and 90's by Stallone, Arnold and others. I was never strong enough to do something like this for most of my adult life - so was great to be able to achieve that in this photo! Lots of fun too.
