Lumbar Spine motion is so very important to maintain. As we get older it is more and more important to exercise and maintain all of the motion in our spine. If you don’t use it you will lose it! This is a great exercise to maintain or gain ROM and improve stability in the spine. It is so very simple and can be completed in your very own home! It is called “Bridging,” and it can be performed on any flat or hard surface. Bridging can also be made more challenging by performing it on a foam roll, a Swiss Ball, or even a BOSU. Check out my next post for these different options! Perform 2-3 sets of 10. Lift your bottom up from tail to head and then lower your spine head to tail as if dropping marbles on the mat one at a time. Here’s to getting more mobile in that spine! ❤️Dr. Ja’nae Brown .
