Lumbar Spine motion is so very important to maintain. As we get older it is more and more important to exercise and maintain all of the motion in our spine. If you don’t use it you will lose it! This is a great exercise to maintain or gain ROM and improve stability in the spine. It is so very simple and can be completed in your very own home! It is called “Bridging,” and it can be performed on any flat or hard surface. Bridging can also be made more challenging by performing it on a foam roll, a Swiss Ball, or even a BOSU.
