How can simple leg raises target so many muscles??
What's great about calisthenics is the fact that lifting and controlling your bodyweight puts strain across a multitude of muscles. Here I'm doing simple pbar leg raises. However, my triceps are fully engaged to keep my arms locked and my weight balanced, my scapula and traps are engaged to keep my shoulder blades away from my ears and my spine straight, and on the other side my entire core is being worked along with my quads, chest and the vein in my forehead that says BREATHE!
Bodyweight training is all about efficiency. How can you best train your body with the most efficient and effective use of your energy and time.
🍷Cheers to functional fitness💪🏼
