Dazzler is a 4 year old American Bully. Sometimes these are mistaken or named under the blanket term, "pit mix," but the politically correct name for dogs like Dazzler are bully breed mix. She came to the rescue as Heartworm positive, and has undergone treatment and has completed her first month of recovery.
She's the ultimate snuggler, loving and devoted to a fault. When out of her crate, she is her foster'snshadow. Dazz is perfect on the leash, with a natural or very well-trained heel. Very solid recall in the yard, even with distractions. She is housebroken.
She has a high prey drive and excitement aggression. She needs an adopter with no other animals - but she is easily manageable on walks around our urban neighborhood.
Dazz also has a weird habit of eating anything in sight: this is called Pica. As detailed above, she can chew her way out of the plastic crates or bend the metal doors. In metal wire crates she has no problem warping them to get out. She NEEDS this highly secure Impact crate (or similar) in order to keep her safe from herself.
Dazzler is a very people-oriented dog, easily trainable and well-socialized. Her photos do not do her justice. She loves to play with a flirt pole and would make a great candidate for someone that wants to try dog sports like bikejor, canicross, lure coursing, or weight pull. However, Dazzler is equally happy to play with the flirt pole for 15 minutes and snuggle/nap with you for the other 23.75 hours a day.
As long as her adopter has a strong crate and no other animals, they will never regret the decision to adopt this wonderful, personable girl.
Dazzler is spayed, microchipped, utd on shots, and available for adoption now.
