Wendy Claire Barrie and Summerlee Staten say you can have Sunday School anywhere during the summer. Their Take-Out Church boxes hold a book of activities on this year's Creation Care theme, a key ring of prayers, a schedule of Summer Sunday topics (for when you're back in town), and a packet of basil seeds (for when you want to make pizza at home). #noanchoviesplease #summersundays #stpaulschapel #lowermanhattan #nyc

Graveyard behind St Paul's Chapel with tombstones dating as far back as the early 1700s. I don't know if other people would find this macabre, but I actually enjoy visiting old graveyards and catacombs while traveling. πŸ’€ πŸ‘»

"The Little Chapel That Stood" - St Paul's (built 1766) survived the American Revolutionary War, the Great Fire in NY in 1776, and more recently 9/11 despite its proximity to WTC. This chapel has seen so much history! Unfortunately it was closed for a private event when I went, so I could only see the exterior. Check out the new One World Trade Center (part of the rebuilt World Trade Center complex) in the back.

Here's the grave of Shakespearean actor, George Frederick Cooke. According to legend, his headless ghost would walk the graveyard. After his death, he was decapitated for science, but his skull was used as a prop for Hamlet. #GeorgeFrederickCooke #thespian #actor #Shakespeare #StPaul #StPaulsChapel #haunted #ghost #headlessghost #Hamlet #skull #grave #deadmentellnotales #deadmendotelltales #TheLittleChapelthatStood #alcoholic #hauntedNYC #NYC #IloveNYC
