Had to do a lot of digging around to find this my longest WIP for day 14 of #greatbritishquilter. It also happens to be my first ever foray into quilting! In 2012 I found myself unemployed as I walked away from my really good job because of bullying. I turned to sewing while watching the Olympics didn't know what I was doing!! It was all cut by scissors and not squared as I did not know about rotary cutters and squaring up. Each square is a slightly different size and doesn't sit flat. I also bought really cheap cotton for the sashing so you can see seams through it! I then made it worse by trying to stitch in the ditch and it looks rubbish and really baggy... Also very difficult on my old machine!
I put it away as I'm not sure how to rescue it!!! PLEASE suggestions on what to do!! @verykerryberry and @sarahashfordstudio
