Don't forget jaw day kids

Alarm just went off and Im not terribly tired, I just wanted to sleep in. Even told myself one day off won't make a difference. Then laying there I thought what if I thought that during the past 8 weeks and one day led to another? It happens, but that won't happen to me. Jumped out of bed, and on my way to the gym because I WANT THIS BAD!

Today, we hiked Mount Thom β›° in the Fraser Valley for my first time. This 10km hike is listed as Intermediate with an
Elevation Gain of 375 meters. The dirt trail is nicely groomed and smooth, however, it's a consistent uphill climb to the top viewing point. I recommend this hike if you're looking to change up your scenery, get out of the city, and hike a trail with less traffic. -

Hiking never feels like a chore and always feels like an adventure. I'm looking forward to maximizing the next 4 months of hiking πŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ’¨ -

SOOoO here are my final photos. Obviously I don't look a lot different and I'm totally okay with it! I didn't do a crazy peek week I didn't drink to much water then dehydrate myself I didn't go on any crazy diet and I didn't go get a spray tan before these pics! I did however realize I can maintain this weight that is healthy and I am definitely happy! But check out those quad gainzzzzz! Day 6 was suppose to be an easy day according to the program... !YEAH RIGHT! 10 sets of Sumo Squats and 10 sets of Deadlifts and over 100 lunges with weighted core work, sound easy rightπŸ˜‚. Either way, I added some weighted dips because I felt I didn't hit my triceps well. !oh yeah! New one max rep PR! 315lb Dealifts using the Trap bar. DISCLAIMER - LONG POST.
For those who don't know, in 2014 I opted to do a remote tour in Korea for a year. At the time Arriana was 2 1/2 years old. A lot can happen in a year...both good - I knocked out 9 semester hours of in class schoolwork, met one of my bestest friends @mojopf21 but it was also met with heartache - a divorce, broken wrist, loss of "friends..." but most #heartwrenching of all was being separated from the πŸ‘‘ for a year. When we were reunited in June of 2015 it was so, so hard. She changed during her time being raised by her lovely grandparents. I changed with the new challenges of being a single parent. As I was getting used to being a mother again (potty training, discipline, finding out her likes/dislikes), I decided to whip myself into shape. I did so nonstop for almost 2 years; taking her along on the journey. I have no regrets about this as it did create a bond between us. However...during this prep I realized - when do I make unadulterated time for us? Without the hustle and bustle? πŸ€”
My answer: Now. I do it now.
So with the support of my coach @aherford_r_ and discussions with those who know the game best like @andrek223, I have elected not to compete in August. I'm unable to make the 100% time commitment required for prep with not only a busier work tempo, but the need and desire to make time for Arriana and I outside gym walls and the CF pad. I had to wear the brace for 3 months in a locked position to keep from extending my triceps tendon. What hurt the most was not the tear itself. It was the doctor telling me I should not press anymore, ever!

So, at that moment the challenge to press again was accepted Doc!
