Late this afternoon my Uncle and I had a wee walk out with 🙋🏻, which you might think sounds like a completely normal thing to do, but my Uncle really doesn't walk well in town, on a short lead, or with 🙋🏻. This has been a struggle and has left 🙋🏻like 🤦🏻♀️. All summer long we've got round this by having evening walks out of town with 🙋🏻♂️(because we can drive places and be off lead) but now we're losing our light evenings we need a new plan... .
So off we trotted. We dug our paws in, my Uncle refused to walk a few times, there were stand-offs in the middle of the street, and there was a lot of "GOOD BOY Bracken!" from 🙋🏻as she tried to encourage him. We got to this point and I decided I'd had enough of this malarkey and needed a #steptrait. This may sound strange but this is my "time out" - I suggest a spot, we do a few photos, and then I walk on calmly. So while this isn't the most exciting of spots, it felt good to me. And yes, my Uncle and I eventually walked together (🎉) and made it home.
