Lunges with Dumbells 4 sets of 10 on each leg. Before we snicker that those are only 5 pounders (waaaa has 😢😢😢) let me explain. I am lightening up BIG time on the weights and trying a new approach. 🤓More sets and reps and less weight if any. The reason is that for the last month or so I have been hitting it HARD and trying to get back to my old PR’s. What suffered in the wake of that is my abdomen has NOT regained any strength Post op. (Cesarean end of January) In an effort to get my WHOLE body back on board I simply can’t act as though my core is fine when it’s really not. 🔆The core is the stability of the whole body. If that’s not strong, I’m setting myself up for further injury by trying to max out. 🌸Anywhooo.. life is a learning curve and this is one for me right now. I got a contusion during pregnancy just to the right of my naval and the right side of my abdomen is still swelling on & off. My incision is also still sore which who knows how long that will last. ❤️Basically I’m working with what I got and trying to get better at it with tweaks and switching it up.
