MY FAVORITE FATMAN CARDIO WORKOUT! I don't think there's a better cardio workout than the step machine. I've tried all the steppers and the #ClimbMill from @matrixfitnessusa is the best with wider, larger, and sweat-resistant steps and even a fan vent. Add a weight vest and it's a beautiful blend of strength and conditioning. Here I'm doing 20 minutes with a 50-pound weight vest at about 75 steps/minute for 1500 total steps. It's a savage sweat πŸ’¦ sesh with your heart ❀️ rate through the roof and your glutes, lower quads, and calves getting a muscle-building stimulus. Plus it's low impact. Day 33 of 55 of the @bodybuildingcom @dymatize #stillinit Challenge and I've completed goal # 2!!! My first goal was to PR my 10k which I did with flying colors and my second goal was to do 300 flights of stairs at one time. One week ago was the first time I ever spent 1 hour on the stairs and I got in 242 or 3 flights that day. I ended up off work today so I decided today was the day and I wanted to do it in under 70 minutes! I got it done!!! I'm so happy!!! πŸ™ˆ 6 years I've been a Personal Trainer. I leave the house in my flip flops EVERY day and bring my sneakers. I also usually have 2-3 back up pair in my car. Today.. I get to work with ZERO sneakers in my car and none in my hands. LoL what's a girl to when she gets a cancelation... barefoot stepping for 45 mins or sit on my butt?? Just a boring clip of my hour on the stepmill this morning. I didn't want to do it. The alarm startled me awake this morning but after the last two absolutely perfect training/nutrition days, there was NO WAY I was gonna break my stride. Getting all the work done with a resolve I haven't had in a long time. Peanut butter and PopTart cheats were normal for me. This is the biggest competition I've ever prepped for and there is ZERO room for cheating or straying from the plan. I'm all in. πŸ’―πŸ’ͺ🏼😎

Good ole Transformation Tuesday ~ there is a 17 week different between before and after pics and a 16.5lbs elimination of fat. It isn't easy showing how "off track" I got but it's real. My hope is to show YOU that when you commit to changing your physique you must choose to change your mind as well. You need total mind body connection. You have to talk nicely to yourself. Your body hears every ugly mean thing you say about it in your head. Stop. It. Now. Commit to change your mind and your body will follow. The hardest part is the food. Once you master that, your body has no choice but to change. Remember fat lasts longer than flavor. The food will always be there. Don't be afraid of "healthy" fats. It's your friend when you transform. It helps keep your hormones balanced and helps keep those crazy cravings away. Remember, there are NO permanent quick fixes. If you TRULY want to change your body, you MUST pick up some weights.
