The bobbly Field, North of Matterdale End, Lake District
A lovely shot from a few weeks back during the Beast from the East the return. I spotted this bobbly, snowy field whilst driving down the A5091 between the A66 and the A592 and decided that despite the snow drifts and terrible conditions I had to see what I could capture. I could have really done with the tripod due to it being close to 17:00 and the light dropping fast, I decided to use the fence post to steady the shot and I was really happy with what I got. I also feel that the 4x4 crop is right for this image.
