Six months ago the aftermath of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High school shooting put its students at the center of the gun debate and our 24 hour news cycle. In that moment, America watched as its most unlikely demographic challenged the NRA and its political allies, but in what has become commonplace for the news media and our attention span, the next big story appeared, and the firestorm surrounding the Parkland students disappeared. However since their march to Washington D.C., the passion that the students initially exemplified has remained constant. @vicenews recently caught up with the Parkland students to examine how the march on D.C has grown to the March for Our Lives movement, a 20-state bus tour with the intent of registering voters who will elect politicians that will push through gun control legislation.//linkIn.bio!
