#throwbackthursday and a little clip from a few weeks ago when bumpie was small. It is funny how I used to think I wasn't very emotionally attached to my physical practise. Having to modify as of late I've realized that I really am. Which in the beginning made me feel like a bad yogini because we're not supposed to care, right? But over the last few weeks I have realized two things.
1: it is ok to have stronger feelings for a particular part of a practise. That is what keeps you going, is it not? And it doesn't have to mean we don't care about the other parts.
2: Having a very good reason not to put pressure on myself has made my practise more refined. Going for an easier option can feel so great in the body. Of course you sometimes want to challenge yourself but other times you just want to be ❤
