Day 3 of 5 days of fun facts about us: Jagger, as in Mick Jagger, as in I’ve got the moves like Jagger. As you know from reading day 1, we were chosen to be Jagger’s forever home when he was about 14 months old. So we never got to see him as a puppy... which is sad because Entles are super CUTE puppies! Jagger was surrendered by his family (who were great, just couldn’t keep him) and he was with his foster family for a few weeks who almost kept him because he was that awesome. Luckily for us, they didn’t and we got him. He flew from Wisconsin and when I picked him up he was in his crate all the way to the back unsure of what the heck just happened. I locked eyes with him, opened that crate and got him out and said welcome home Handsome Pants. (One of the nicknames I still call him) We spent some time together outside at the airport so he could relax a little and we could get to know each other. Then I put his crate in the back of my Jeep and told him to get in the front. I don’t think he had ever been in the front seat before because as soon as he sat next to me, his whole body language changed and this big goofy smile came over him. (Similar to the picture here) His head was out the window and my hand was on his back the entire ride to his forever home. We’ve been inseparable every since... as in, he may never ever let me out of his sight, like ever.
