Day 2 in Bangkok: we hired a deaf tour guide to show us around in Wang Lang area during the daytime. Met a #deaf street vendor at Wang Lang Market. We went shopping at Siam Paragon -one of largest malls in the world. #3 mall in Bangkok. Love studying fashion in different country. Their food court is champs! #SteinstakeoverAsia

Day 2 in Koh Samui: we achieved our goal for the day- to relax and chill by our pool. Complimentary breakfast buffet is one of the best we had during this entire trip. The hotel makes sure that breakfast buffet caters to all kinds of tourists- English, Americans, Chinese and Russians. #escapebreak is on our hotel property. We had a great time solving puzzles. The theme we chose was Kowloon Captive. Later in the evening it was raining cats and dogs! We opted to get another Thai massage for the entire family at downtown Lamai. #relaxandchill #slowpacedliving #SteinstakeoverAsia

Day 3 PM in Bangkok:
Riding in #tuktuk is faster than cab. Our feet were sore from walking last 2 days. Treated ourselves to massage. Only $6 for an hour. You gotta have massages in thailand. We went to the rooftop of our #Airbnb place and we bid farewell to Bangkok. #lastdayinbangkok #SteinstakeoverAsia

Day 5 PM: kids surprised Russ with fresh caught fish for dinner at Zauo. We saw that on TV in the States. we thought russ would like that. Sure enough he had fun catching the biggest fish so he could have some huge dinner. It's really cool seeing your fish cooked in different style- grilled, sashimi, steamed or deep fried. All tasted good! We would recommend you to try that place. #fathersday #SteinstakeoverAsia #lastdayintokyo

Vacation has come to an end. Getting ready to board on a SFO bound plane. Missing #HongKong already. #SteinstakeoverAsia

Day 3 AM. Met up with our former @mozzeriasf staff and friend, Martin Dale Henrich. Went to have lunch at a #deafowned eatery, #signwithmecafe in Tokyo. Their specialty is soups. We were invited by Meisei Charter School (elementary thru middle school) and we shared our story with the middle school aged students. Such an energizing class. #dreambig #youcandoit #SteinstakeoverAsia

Day 2 PM. A great Kobe beef experience! Having Kobe beef in Japan was on my bucket list. Wow. Really melts in your mouth. Hakushu is a 20-seated family owned restaurant. Totally different from Behinana type restaurant in the States. After dinner we got to walk across the famous #shibuyacrossing and we finally saw neon lights! #SteinstakeoverAsia

Day Two AM One of the must visit Tokyo attractions- #tsukijifishmarket. When you get off the train you can smell fish and we followed the fish smell to the market. They receive about 6000 pounds of fresh fish daily. Sampled many interesting food at the market. We wouldn't dare to eat fish eyes! Tip: the best time to visit the market is in early morning. Even better when you are jet-lagged. #SteinstakeoverAsia

Day 3 AM in Bangkok: @NADthailand deaf guide drove us to 2 markets- Maeklong Train Market and Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. These are the highlights of our trip in Bangkok. Train market experience is crazy and a bit scary. The train passes 4x through a day. All vendors place their products on the train track and when they hear the train coming, they pull their products and awning. Good thing the train was moving real slow when it comes through the market. Still, it was so close to where I stood. Then we went to the floating market. It wasn't packed during the week and it's the best if you come early in the morning so you wouldn't have to deal with humidity. Food was fantastic! We would like to thank these #deaf tour guides for making our trip memorable. You can hire them at NADThailand. #SteinstakeoverAsia

Good Morning from Hong Kong! It's so great to be back here. #birthplace #SteinstakeoverAsia

Day 3 in Koh Samui: we went #ATV riding in the mountain and jungle. We hiked through jungle to see Kuhn Si Waterfall. Visited Big Buddha Temple and saw the Chinese zodiac. You can see our animal signs. Briefly captured taysia riding the ATV on my iPhone. The ATV tour was thrilling! Got to see most of Koh Samui. #familyfun #SteinstakeoverAsia

Day 1 in Koh Samui (2nd largest island in Thailand): Staying at our 2-bedroom villa with a private pool at Lamai Beach. The resort also gives the guests another option to swim in their community pool. Not used to having the public rooms outside- living room, kitchen and bathroom. It's going to be some fun experience for us. Russ tried Thai massage for the first time. #relaxingmode #SteinstakeoverAsia

Day 1 in Bangkok: a 6 and half hour flight from Tokyo to Bangkok. Humidity and hot temperature had welcomed us in Bangkok. Checked in our #Airbnb place in W district. Beautiful view. Street food stalls are within walking distance from our apartment building. International food. Mexican, German, Japanese, Indian, Chinese, American, Italian and Korean. It was so hot that we had to dive into the infinity pool. #takingiteasy #SteinstakeoverAsia

Day 5 Am. Kids got the whole day planned for Russ. We decided to sample a wide array of Japanese delicates under one roof- Food Show (Tara, thanks for the tip) then we visited the cat cafe (missing our family cat, Midnight at home) and pah we found a good udon place where they make their own udon. So good! #SteinstakeoverAsia #lastdayintokyo

Day 4: a trip to Tokyo Disneyland is a must for my kids. Some rides are similar to Disneyland in LA. When we got there nearly all Fast Pass machines were shut. The longest wait time was 2 hours plus for Splash Mountain. Next one was Buzz Lightyear- almost 2 hours. So you can say at the end of day we were soooooo exhausted and called it a day. #SteinstakeoverAsia

Day 3 PM: Martin took us to 2 more #deafowned restaurants, Menya-Yoshi (ramen) and Fusao (kushiage).Menya Yoshi was closed because the owner/chef became ill that day. We didn't get a chance to try their ramen. Dang. We went to another ramen shop and has some ramen. After that. we did some sightseeing in Shinjuku. We met up with Fusao and Masahiro, the owner of Sign with Me cafes. Had a wonderful time at Fusao. Thank you, Martin for showing us around. We had a wonderful time. #deafecosystem #SteinstakeoverAsia

Day One in Tokyo. Signed up for an #Airbnb experience- Shibuya Street Fashion. Interesting tidbit- Japanese have to wear their uniforms for a long time because of school but when not in school they like to express themselves through their fashion choice. One of the new clothing trends- #shants. A combo of pants and shirts. Japanese loves American brands- Levi's and Champion. While on tour. We bumped into Kanye West at one of these vintage shops. Of course we had to try Japanese delicacies. After that we were soooo tired and went to bed at 5 pm. #missingfirstnight. #didntgettoseeneonlights. #SteinstakeoverAsia
