*New Class* | Barry's Release
Starting this Saturday, 10/21 @ 9:30am Barry's River North I'll be leading Barry's Release, a guided stretch class aimed to increase your performance in the Red Room. The class will include soft-tissue release ("foam rolling"), dynamic stretching, and static stretching to complete a full recovery format.
The benefits of movement preparation through foam rolling & stretching include:
* Decreased muscle soreness post-class
* Reduced risk of injury due to inactivity and immobility
* Increased speed and strength performance
[I'm talking to you my runners with hip, knee, and calf soreness...] 🏃🏼. The class will last 45 minutes, and can be tailored to work pre or post-class as well as a standalone recovery format. Come learn how to effectively use a foam roller, stretch to prepare for better movement (i.e. running and lifting), and get ready to crush class!
