Another day, another chance to make things happen!
I'll be the first to admit that i'm not a morning person. I don't like getting up to work out, i hate having morning obligations that force me into the shower at 5am, and the sun not being up yet is a real issue for me.
Then i had Kannon.
We decided early on that he would set his own normal. When he naturally wakes, naps, etc were up to his own rhythm. And his rhythm? Suspiciously like a teenager. Awake until midnight and sleeps in until almost 10am. We've tried shifting it slightly, and the best we've gotten is 9:30pm-9am. That means my time to get anything done is from 5am-9am, since he wakes easily at night.
The best thing i started doing to ease me into mornings? Get up, don't think about it, and start moving. I don't preset coffee. I have to make it each morning. I don't make lunch the night before. I have to move, which gets the blood flowing and wakes me up.
