This is what 21 weeks pregnant looks like for me at different angles! I've only gained a total of 2 kgs and have increased my diet by no more than 300 - 400 extra calories a day. My abs are completely gone and I look more curvy and bloated, though I still don't show too much. I'll be sharing photos month by month to show what sort of physical changes I am experiencing.
I've been controlling my weight simply because I lift weights. So many people are misinformed, and I see it from the women who visit my gym. Weightlifting is the BEST THING for shaping, fat loss and boosting your metabolism. Even if you are overweight, at an older age, obese, etc, then YOU SHOULD LIFT WEIGHTS to get the body you want. Do not listen to any "professional" who tells you else-wise. If I didn't lift weights, I believe I would deteriorate and lose strength. Of course, I am adapting my weights to my pregnancy, but I plan to lift until I'm 9 months pregnant.
