No time like the present! •
So happy to have been able to train today. Through my bit of research the most consistent advice I've read about training post pregnancy (especially after a c section), was to take things easy because our bodies are still healing on the inside despite the "healed up" scar. •
At home I have a pair of 10lb & 15lb dumbbell weights. After warming up and first going through the motions, I decided to give the 10lb weights a try, they worked perfectly fine for me. With this kind of training I normally use 40+lb weights depending on what I'm doing, so if you weren't accustomed to strength training prior to pregnancy or period..please start with lighter weights or try resistance bands.

I would more so say I played it super safe for myself, even though I felt I could do more. We'll see how I feel tomorrow lol 😂 •
2 sets 30 sec jump rope to warm up •
2x10 30 sec rest after each movement •
Knee push ups • Bent over dumbbell row (neutral/pronated grips) • One arm dumbbell row (make sure to work both left and right side) • Dumbbell chest press lying on the floor • Alternating toe to floor touch in table top position • Side plank w/dip • Plank, pause for 3 sec in plank position followed by 3 sec flat on the floor and repeat (reviving that core strength) • Lying toe touch (remember to do the other leg 😁)

I believe all of this is in order with the vid 🙈 so all of you who said you're with me on getting that body back. This is super easy and even if you are just getting familiar with training, you can do this too! 😉

• Húmus de Grão •
- 250g de grão (seco ou pré-cozido)
- 1 colher de sobremesa de bicarbonato de sódio - 3 colheres de sopa de sésamo
- 2 dentes de alho
- sumo de 1 limão
- 1 colher de chá de sal - água gelada qb
- cominhos qb
- paprika (malagueta moída) qb
- salsa qb - cozer o grão com o bicarbonato de sódio (para ajudar a amolecer a casca do grão), para além do ponto de cozedura normal, até ficar quase tipo puré;
- triturar os dentes de alho com o sumo de limão e as sementes de sésamo até formar uma pasta;
- adicionar o grão bem cozido, o sal, os cominhos e mais um pouco de sumo de limão e triturar bem com a varinha mágica
- ir adicionando água gelada, continuando sempre a triturar com a varinha mágica, até obter a textura desejada;
- servir com um fio de azeite e salpicar com paprika e salsa.
OBS: acompanhei com palitos de cenoura temperada com sal de limão e pimenta (@flyingtigerpt) e esta combinação é de comer e chorar por mais!! 🤤
