Not a great photo of it but I really enjoyed doing this quick study from the top of the stables at @ntgunbyhall today! So nice to get a different view - and to get out of the sun! ☀️ I will take better photos of all these paintings soon and post them on here and add them to my website haideejo.com
#throwback to last week packing this sign into my car from a shoot I worked on with a group of wonderful local creatives! I participated in 2 shoots last week and man was it so much fun! It was a HUGE learning experience for me on managing my time... some of you may not know but I also work full-time on top of what I do here!
It's always, always a mad hustle trying to get everything done... and even though I always say I'm going to take a few days "off" from the side gig to recharge... every time it happens, all I think about is getting back to it, and usually can't last even a night!
What can I say? #creatersgottacreate! Is there something that you really love doing and couldn't imagine *not* having in your life? Let me know below! . . . . .
Friday folly: Stables are THE ultimate dream houses and I personally am rather fond of Cria Yatay in Buenos Aires inspired by Mies van der Rohe's Barcelona House and with stairs a la Niemeyer's Brazilian MFA. The notion of building something utilitarian, which doesn't have to be but is also beautiful, is endlessly pleasing and uplifting. (I tell you all this only to hide the rather mundane fact that I would probably buy anything that has three words - Argentinian polo player - in one sentence.) It's obviously #friday and #buenosaires and #nachofigueras are musical words, don't you think? #inspired#stables#🐴#artcollection#architectualdigest#criayatay
