I have many goals that I am determined to achieve before it's my time to go. One of my biggest goals in life is to inspire someone to pursue their own dreams and accomplish a few goals of their own that they may have given up on once before. I know that in order to inspire people though you can't always look or be perfect, and trust me, I am far from perfect. After doing 2 back to back shows and training hardcore for 6 weeks, I was exhausted, and hungry lol. Last week I let myself go, which resulted in me beating myself up. I think the combination of training, going through 2 peak weeks, and having the worst sweet tooth, caused me to let go of all discipline. I unfortunately ate way too many sweets and junk food, and with that I mentally and physically felt aweful. Of course me being me, I continued to work hard in the gym, following the plan set by my coach and even added an extra 30-60 minute cardio session to my day, because I thought I needed to "punish" myself. This week hasn't been much better unfortunately because it's not only Thanksgiving, but it's my birthday week as well. Deep down I know that neither one of those are reason enough to pig out, but sometimes a girl just wants to have her deserts! After a week of beating myself up for gaining weight and not sticking with my diet, I had to look myself in the mirror and tell myself to just stop. I had to remind myself that, I'm still human, I'm going to gain some weight, (especially after a show), I'm trying my best, and I can't give up and beat myself up just because I had a hiccup. I'm not telling you all this because I want you to feel bad for me, I'm telling you this to tell those who think they can't do what I have done, that I'm human too and I love my sweets just as much as them, so there should be nothing holding them back. However, you do have to take things in moderation and at least keep up with your workouts. The people who have inspired me the most are those who have been honest with their journey, and that's what I'm doing. It's definitely not an easy lifestyle, but if you push through those cravings and hard workouts it's definitely worth it. #truthsession #iam1stphorm #inspire #srycoach
