My name is Geraloda and I am originally from Peru. I was living in Italy and Spain before coming to London. I have been squatting in London for 3 years now.
Everybody comes to London one day so it's nice to be here. I learnt to spin fire in Barcelona and now I'm squatting in empty commercial buildings. We do event projects inside them and then move together, always to another empty building. There are a lot of empty buildings in London, I don't think it's a bad thing. It's nice to share, and I like to help people. I can eat free food from Hare Krishna and other places around London, but I'm not a homeless person, I'm a human being.
The shortest time I've stayed in a building was 3 days and the longest was 6 months in Russell square, it was an illegal eviction. I like to paint and dance. One day I would like to be a teacher and teach children. #squatter #photojournalism #documentaryphotography #man #firejuggler #london #UK #portrait #Urban #socialreality Photo © #WayneTippetts
