Seed raising mix! The wattles are finally flowering here, which means it's time to plant our first round of spring seedlings.
DIY organic seed raising mix: 3 parts sieved compost, 2 parts coir fibre (coconut husk waste), 1 part sharp sand. Much cheaper than buying seed raising mix and much better too ☺️... if you have worm castings available, replace one part of the compost with that, for extra kapow 💥 .
Planting this week, into plugs and trays: fennel, komatsuna, peas, more peas, lettuce, kale, pak choi, spring onions, chives, parsley. 🌱 #permacultureskills #Melliodora
