Day 5 today! It's the weekend, finally! I haven't really been feeling TOO many negative effects yet. Maybe some annoyance at the grocery store, and slight mood swings but I do feel overall like I'm doing great. Again my only big difference is getting a little more amped for a workout when I'm so used to preworkout helping with that...I've found that's slightly more in my head, and once I get started then I'm good to go.
I got up early and ran a 5k this morning so I was starving after only half of a banana. I made myself a good ole fashioned, easy but big brunch since this will also be my lunch today.
Something I've been so happy to get me through my whole30, are the nutpods creamer! I love them and they give me just the happy medium between my usual almond milk creamery, that has some small sugar.
Also, I've been adding Collagen peptides to my coffee. This is Sports Research Collagen and I've had a decent experience with it. There is a small
Taste difference when you add it to liquids, but not much but it DOES NOT dissolve in colder liquids well. I imagine in a smoothie it would be great but for now- I do really enjoy getting it into my coffee and the benefits, especially for me as a woman, and a lifter, are said to be a great supplement.
