We have a lot of the Myodetox crew helping you 🛠 fix your feet right now. @docjenfit did a video on intrinsic foot strengthening. @vitasphysio discussed kinetic chain effects and recently did a 13-part foot series! And @vinnierehab is talking all things pronation and supination.

One thing I want to make sure we discuss is getting you to FEEL your arches working.
.
I've watched a lot of clients stare at their feet in 😡 frustration as they try to do short foot exercises or move their arches up and down. They just don't have the mind/muscle connection to activate the intrinsic foot muscles because they haven't actively used them in so long.
.
So in order to establish that 🔌 connection, we need to provide a cue. The band here does just that. By having it pull you into pronation, you can pull back against it and get those little foot muscles and your tib posterior really 🔥 fired up. Work on it daily until you can contract them without the band and then move on to more advanced exercises.

Finding this so true lately. The more negative my thoughts are, and the more stressed I get, the more my physical self suffers. I get tired, dry skin, and break out like crazy. And the more I doubt myself, the weaker I feel during training.

Injury: Levator Scapulae Syndrome (Neck and Shoulder Pain)

Pain in this upper quadrant of the neck is very common, but can be the result of multiple variables.
The function of the upper trap and levator scapulae is to assist with various neck, arm and shoulder movements such as shoulder shrugging and neck side bending. 
Like any other muscle groups and structures in the body, these are also susceptible to overuse 
These muscles are commonly overused with any overhead shoulder movement (pressing, pull ups, jerks, snatches, etc.) and poor posture (sitting at a desk or computer all day long).

Signs:
1. These muscle can become tense and painful leading to reduced motion in the area of the neck and shoulder.

2. Pain can radiate from the base of the skull on one side down to the shoulder blade.
3. Headaches ares possible
4. Deep, achy pain and/or tightness on the upper back along the top of the shoulder blade or neck.
5. Reduced motion when moving the neck to the opposite side of the pain. -
