Last year I ran 30k on EcoTrail Oslo at a time of 02:46:15. This year I ran 80k, 82k on my clock (and almost 2000 elevation meters & tons of mud) on a time of 09:59:36. My longest run ever on my feets, 57k was my race PB from before (blefjells beste 2016, also my first ultrarace ever), and 67k was my PB in training (april 2017). ______________________________________________________I'm really satisfied and happy even though I felt that I should have been able to get myself a better time yesterday on these 80k due to all the time I have used and all my training I have made from january to may this year. But, I can't be nothing else but proud ofcourse. Next goal is ultravasan 90k in august. Before that awaits a marathon as well as another ultrarace, farris ultra 67k, both i june, both in the same weekend 😊
A big thank you to @now.i.run for great company from start to finish, as well to @ultraleif for a few visdom words here and there along the course. An awesome race overall with really nice ultrapeople, good supports and a fantastic finish with amazing cheering when we crossed that finishline.
I hope that I will be back next year to get under 9 hours which was somehow (unrealistic yes I know after running this route yesterday) my goal this year🤓
Funny thing is that my legs and body feels extremly good from yesterday, no pain in knee, ancles, back or anything, the only issue are my feets that looks like a couple of feets belonging to a dead corp 😄
1 weeks of resting awaits now, well needed for both me and my family 😁
