During another sleepness night I started thinking of #spinearticulation and how I could apply it to move into #camelpose .
In #vajrasana, place palms on heels. Lift navel into spine to engage #abdominals and pull shoulder blades into the spine for mid back. Squeeze #glutes and lift pelvis up and forward, stretching hips and quads and stretch spine into extension, opening chest and ribs. Finally the head goes back to stretch neck without jamming into the #cervical spine
This way I engage my core through the entire process, getting my #core work and keeping my #lumbar spine safe! 🙏
