Happy #transformationtuesday you guys!
I think I missed last week so I wanted to jump back in 🙃
This transformation is from a couple years back, but I wanted to depict what can happen from the first backbend of your practice towards the end.
The top picture was at the beginning of the shoot, I had taken class but probably a few hours before.
The second photo was towards the end of the shoot after a bunch of dropbacks, standing bows, camels, etc.
Lately I've been experiencing a lot more stiffness in the body (so my starting place is much more conservative), but I still get to observe this change throughout a practice.
If you're feeling constrained right now, you don't have to feel this way forever. Do the work, move slowly and mindfully and see what happens.
And if you have days where you still feel blocked (trust me, it happens 😅), then trust that you unblocked something in the mind or spirit instead 🌱
