Multiple Pics: Tim Hortons has joined forces with Special Olympics as a Platinum Sponsor in order to support the Day of Inclusion and to mark the 50th Anniversary of the Special Olympics in Canada. The sales of one very special donut will raise funds for the Special Olympics program.
This Special Olympics Donut was created by 13-year old Savannah Lussier, a Special Olympian from Grande Prairie, Alberta. When asked why she created this donut, Savannah said: “It's fun to play many sports and meet and hangout with so many of my great friends. Cruller and Chocolate are my favourite, sprinkles are my brother's favourite and red & white are the colours of Special Olympics.” The Donut will be sold at a premium donut price for one day only-Saturday July 21, 2018-with all proceeds going to support Canadians with intellectual disabilities.
Please visit your local Tim Hortons on July 21st, buy a Special Olympics donut and post to social media with #choosetoinclude & tagging @specialocanada to show you believe in the power of inclusion.
