Incredible video shows US Special Forces parachuting a top secret boat into the water
It is one of the US Special Force's secret weapons - but has been shown off for the first time on video.
A jaw dropping new video reveals just how forces get into battle with their boats - by dropping out of the sky.
It shows a team known as Special Boat Team 20 personnel parachute their top secret stealth boats into battle.
Known as Combatant Craft Assault (CCA) vehicles, they are usually used to transport Navy SEALs.
The parachute system, known as a Low Velocity Airdrop Delivery System (LVADS) from a C-17 cargo aircraft was captured during a training exercise.
In total, 11 SWCCs followed their rides into the water below, according to The Warzone.
The 41-foot monohull open-water craft, is designed to be easily deployable, and two can fit in a single C-17 aircraft.
Although little has been revealed about the craft, it is known to be used for insertion and extraction of special operations forces (SOF) and coastal patrol operations.
The 41-foot long craft, technically known as the CCA Mk. 1, has a low-observable design with a composite material hull and a pair of high-performance diesel engines that could operate with a low likelihood of detection even close to shore. It is small enough to be dropped directly into water, and appears to have fold-up armour plating for protection of crew / passengers.
Sensors aboard the CCA include a maritime radar mounted on a mast along with communications antennae and infrared and day and low light video cameras alongside and a laser range finder and pointer.
Little is known about the CCA's armaments, although it is believe to have mounting points for type types of machine gun and a grande launcher.
