This was crazy difficult pose making me almost regret on Day 1 decision to take part in infamous LAB challenge 😉

I tried to concentrate on bringing my foot as close as possible while keeping my hips square and pushing them down to create that straight line Carmen was talking about.
The Backbend was kinda not happening. I had enough trouble getting this far. .
My knee was fine, but my quads were screaming!

Announcing November’s #yogachallenge #Yoga4x7!!! This challenge is DIFFERENT than usual because we’ll be working towards 4 peak poses, every Tuesday, taking 7 days to build up to each of them (hence the 4x7, notice the different rim color for Tuesdays?). Each peak pose is purposely, very different from the others, so each week it’ll feel like a mini-challenge in itself (yet to win, you’d still have to complete the whole thing!). Instead of working on one theme, think of this challenge as a ‘sample box’ 📦 where we’ll cover a wider variety of asanas in a less amount of days. The idea is to switch it up and go from strengthening to backbends, hip openers, splits, inversions and back, in 28 days. Two VERY good things about this challenge are: 1) it’ll be much less likely you’ll get tired of it (no time!), 2) you’ll be able to ‘take the pulse’ on your practice and determine what it is you need to work on more and where you’re at in each family of poses.
