Wood prep part deux! Slicing of the lams😂 Cut a bunch of lams from teak, sapele, padauk and wenge. Teak is really oily. I had to remove my saw blade every 2 or 3 cuts because of the pitch that built up on the teeth. If you just keep cutting it’s only a matter of time before the saw starts to bog down and wood starts to burn. A clean sharp blade cuts wood like butter. A dirty sharp blade, not so much. Dirty and dull, don’t waste your time. Still more lams to cut but I made good progress this morning. Going to get some big guns 💪 out of this batch to hit fish with @big__kurt and @el_squid this Winter.
