This particular dressert has the perfect balance of sweet and salty!
This is a GF, flour-less Cruelty-Free Plantain dessert. 🍽🍽🍮
Ingredients: 5-6 ripe plantains, coconut sugar, coconut cream, baking powder,flaxseeds and vegan butter.
Pre-heat oven to 355. 🔛
Peel your plaintains. Create flaxseed "eggs".🥚❌ (4tbs of water 2tbs of flaxseed and let soak for it because jelly-like) Then, pour your coconut cream🍶 in a container and mix 1 tbs of baking powder and whisk away until slightly bubbly.
Then, you set it aside.
In a pan, you will mix vegan butter and coconut sugar until it caramelizes. 😌
When the oven is ready, you put all the plantains to cook until tender. ♨️
When plantains are tender, you will put them in the food processor and gradually add flaxseed.
After that, you will start to add the coconut cream mix gradually. Optional: you. An also add coconut or date sugar if you want it to be sweeter. While this mixes, you will butter up your baking pan.
After that, you will pour your mix into the baking pan and spread across.
You sprinkle some cinnamon on top before baking.
Finally, you will set a timer for 40 minutes and wait until the dessert cooks.
Let cool and flip onto a plate then add toppings of your choice. 🍌🙌🏼🍞
