In case you have been wondering why I have all these posts with images of five items in them, seemingly random, it is because of this book.
No, the author does not talk about purging five items a day from your house. Minimalism is one of my passions. I have way too many things, we are working on downsizing into our ideal life, and I am working on a study of the yamas and the niyamas.
At the beginning of this month, I challenged myself to remove five items daily from my physical space. I further challenged myself to daily take one of the 10 yamas or niyamas and relate the experience to my emotions, the items, to the practice of studying the yamas and then yamas.
I am building a course, to be launched in 2018, related to the yamas and niyamas. So keep an eye out for that if you're interested.
