I was 9 when my Mum put me on my first diet.. I didn't really notice it at the time but I knew my lunch looked different. She would comment on how much baby fat I had to lose and often compared me to my sister who was small and petite - myself the obvious latter.
I was 11 when I first weighed myself.. and my sister said I was so fat I would break the dinner seat.
I had always been a chubby kid, 'that fat girl' was a common insult for me growing up and it definitely had it's moments.
Push on to high school and I was bulimic for awhile.. that hurt my throat so I instead chose not to eat and exercised to excess. My Mum and Sister then called me too skinny.. fuck, really?! Couldn't impress them!
Push on to early 20s and I went up and down and up and down, 3 pregnancies later and I'm at my absolute biggest. I've dieted, shakes, keto, you name it - I've tried, I've given up and now I'm taking my seat at the losers bench. VSG here I come. (In a complete anonymous way due to the nature of my work)😆 #imcia #sorrynotsorry😂
