Woke up #sorenotsorry today from the squats and stuff I did yesterday. But I wasn’t gonna let that stop me from keeping the grind going. I want a stronger, better and healthier self for myself, so I’ll just keep improving and keep challenging myself 👊. I did a 7 mile progression today with a mile cool down followed by some arm work. Getting up this morning was a CHOICE✌🏻 and certainly wasn't something that I was excited to do.

This morning I wasn't motivated to workout. I wasn't full of energy or well rested.😴⠀
In fact, I woke up hoping I get to take a nap today 💓⠀
.
But what I have learned along the way is that I can choose my attitude for the day. Even if it isn't going to be my most productive day, I can choose to be positive. I can choose to do the most important tasks and I can choose to schedule in some downtime and rest.⠀
.
So today you get to CHOOSE what you do too! You get to choose whether you are going to face your fears and do something that you KNOW you should DO. Today you get to choose whether you are going to distance yourself from negativity and move closer to those that lift you up. Today you get to CHOOSE to put good quality food in your body! Today you get to choose to move your body even if it's just for 10 minutes. My friends, your life is a series of choices that are going to add up to bring you closer to your goals and dreams. .
Be GRATEFUL 🙏🏻that your FEET hit the FLOOR and that you have this OPPORTUNITY to make an impact today!⠀

Busy evening full of exercise, a great cause, and my own mental refocus. Had an amazing ride at #spokechella and followed it up with a great AAA (arms, abs, 🍑). Now I am tired 🔥🤪. It was so amazing to ride at sunset outside, an unreal experience for sure. Not to mention raising funds for CAMH, since we really need to do more for mental health. Great day on the workout front 💪. .

Something happens when you have accountability. It often means waking up for morning workouts, just like today! And to think I would never be the one to share pictures or the struggles I’m facing with health and fitness... a lot sure has changed.
I’m not where I want to be but I’m a closer than where I was. And that’s what really matters to me!

Sometimes when that morning wake up call comes and I’d rather hit snooze 100 times I have to remind myself what I’m doing all of this for and suddenly I’m able to get my a$$ out of the bed -

I’d rather be sore than sorry because excuses always start with sorry and I dropped the excuses a long time ago 😘
