So ...the other day I was working an event, and a party patron walked in (I don't know her) I liked the style, I've actually seen it very often as of late, with the jacket over the shoulders... So, I had to ask, whats the recent hype behind this look? She said, in so many words, that it just feels comfortable and empowering.
I tried it. Maaan, I'll be honest, I felt like royalty 😂😂😂😂 on some "Hello, fair maiden, hand me the, the, the, royal CANON, so I may forth take thou photograph.." .
She was right. Well...it was empowering, but, not comfortable, I had to keep grabbing my jacket from slipping. How the hell do you ladies keep it draped around your shoulders without falling? 😂😂
Side note. there's really nothing new under the sun, James Brown was doing this in the 1970s. And then, Kings and Queens in the 1700s. And now, again in 2017. .
MY question is when, how, and why, do these different fashion trends come and go? And, then who decides when the trends come and go??? 🤔🤔
I remember when ripped jeans were cool, then they weren't cool, and now they are cool again?? I can't keep up with you kids and your trends...😒
