It was 100% Alex’s idea to bring his violin to Santa Barbara. He wanted to play his latest Suzuki song (new piece, he’s still practicing it) in a “beautiful setting”. Swipe to see the video. 🎵
As Parents, we are always considering how we are raising our children. As shown through our feed, I feel it’s very important for kids to have time to play outside, and I try introduce them to experiences that will encourage curiosity and creativity. Through our travels, our kids learn how to be flexible and adaptable.
Behind the scenes, our kids also have a lot of structure - much thanks to a very involved tiger grandma 🐯👵🏻. She makes sure the kids are doing their Kumon math and reading, practicing Suzuki violin, and helps shuttle the kids to and from their many activities- art, soccer, basketball.
Our boys are so lucky, and my next job is to make sure they recognize how they fortunate and privileged they are, and the importance of giving back. I’ve been looking into volunteer projects to do with the boys (almost 4 and 6), and appreciate any suggestions you might have!
