I've been skipping the gym since the snow started but I bundled up tonight and made myself go to yoga. So glad I did because there were only 4 of us in class and the teacher walked us through how to do a headstand! It was the first time I've ever tried it and I got part way there. Calling them #rubberbanditz + #TRX reverse supermans.

Last week I challenged myself to do these two exercises .... after several times trying I notice some improvement, the best things is that I was able to go lower, push myself up and land on the weights without landing on my face. ☺️😁 I still have some work to do on those. "If u never try you'll never know!" 🙌🏻

We have another #MeatlessMonday recipe for you from Personal Trainer @sharayapoulin. ⠀

This is a Glory Bowl, adapted from @whitewatercooks. Bonus: You can make this as #MealPrep for the week! ⠀

Spray a large skillet with coconut oil; fry 1 block of firm tofu cut into squares, stirring often, until brown and crispy––about 10 minutes.⠀

DRESSING: In a blender, purée together 1/2 cup nutritional yeast flakes, 2/3 cup tamari, 1/3 apple cider vinegar, 1/3 cup water, 2 tablespoons tahini, and 2 cloves garlic. With motor running, add in 1/3 cup avocado oil in slow, steady stream. Blend until smooth. ⠀

To serve, divide cooked rice among 8 bowls; drizzle each with 1 tbsp of the dressing. Top each with tofu, shredded carrots, shredded beets, spinach, and slivered almonds. Drizzle each with 3 tbsp of the dressing. ⠀
