Happy first weekend of fall 🙌 My baking experiment for this weekend ended up being a bit of a fail (ok, it was a total fail) but that’s okay because it gave me an excuse to remake one of my fave fall 🎃 recipes instead - acorn donut holes! Seriously, are these not the cutest? I remember making these multiple times during the fall season last year and I have a feeling this season wilł be no different. I ran out of almonds for my stems but I found walnut pieces work just fine in a pinch! What did you make to ring in fall this weekend?

THICK. CRUNCHY. GOOEY. FRUITY. all at the same time👌🏼chocolate that’s above 70% is packed with antioxidants and fatty acids, but it’s best enjoyed in moderation (hence it being my go-to snack ALWAYS). today I melted a bar of @montezumaschocs and @traderjoes organic dark 🍫 with 2 Tbsp of coconut oil, poured the mixture into a small container and then swirled in some @wild_friends maple sunflower butter, coconut flakes and frozen 🍓’s - popped it into the freezer and am enjoying a piece 2 hours later👌🏼 TIP: let the chocolate base freeze a little before swirling in the sunflower butter and other toppings so that they don’t sink to the bottom.

Ive been really into the great British baking show for awhile now and I love it because it always inspires me to try new recipes that I wouldn’t ordinarily try (or try to recreate). This is technically a throwback project that I made during my hiatus from social media last year. So this is a mini pumpkin povitica (perfect for fall) and it is basically a pumpkin bread filled with a chocolate walnut filling. I, of course had to make it my own, so I used my go-to pumpkin donut dough recipe for the base. I also made my version in the microwave because that’s what my pumpkin dough was made for. Finally got around to dedicating a blog post to my most fave and most popular recipe: cinnamon roll scones! I first posted these on my instagram 3-ish years ago and they have since been pinned over 7k times on pinterest. and they have received rave reviews from everyone that has made them. Also in today's blog post, I'm answering your questions! One of my followers requested that I do a comparison between milk and plant based milk so today's blog post also includes the 411 on everything you need to know about all of the milks. starting my day with cinnamon rolls. but not just any cinnamon rolls. This time of the year, my absolute fave flavor combo is apple and Brie! So today I made spiced apple, Brie, and apple butter cinnamon rolls. I don’t have an exact recipe since I used leftover whole wheat dough from work. For the filling, I first added a layer of apple butter followed by small pieces of Brie. Then for the spiced apple: 1 small Green apple cut into pieces mixed with 1 tbsp lemon juice, 2 tsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp flour, and 1 tsp pumpkin spice. Rolled it all up like regular cinnamon rolls and baked. what did you bake this weekend?

Trying stay dry in #hongkong while watching the crazy storm outside. Typhoon 10 amber rain and flood warnings are in place - really hope that people on the outlying islands and other coastal areas are safe.
Although this dish ended up a bit of a #kitchenfail due to me blending the tomatoes instead of blitzing them, it was still delicious. I got the recipe from the beautiful #happyfood cook book by the awesome @bettinas_kitchen and tweaked it a bit.
This amount would be enough for at least 8 slices of crispy toast - I made more as it lasts for days in the fridge.
🍅 2 large ripe tomatoes
🍅 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
🍅 2 teaspoons maple syrup or sweetener of choice
🍅 6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
🍅 1 large clove of garlic (or more if you're a huge garlic lover like me)
🍅 pink Himalayan salt and pepper to taste
🍅 oregano 💚 avocado and capres to serve.
